Sanno Museum

The Sanno Museum, which displays and exhibits the collection that the founder of Hotel Monterey collected over the past 50 years, opened in 2009 at the Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka in Naniwa Ward, Osaka City, and moved and opened as an independent museum in 2022 in its current location in Chuo Ward, Osaka City.

The collection includes 600 works, including modern Western paintings, Japanese Western and Japanese Western-style paintings, ceramics, and sculptures. Along with permanent exhibits of the museum's representative works, special exhibitions centered on the collection are held in spring and fall.

The five-story museum is equipped with exhibition rooms spread over three floors. A special rest area where visitors can spend time after viewing the exhibits with a cup of coffee or tea is also attractive. The museum store offers a collection catalog and a selection of goods featuring the collections.
