"Must-Visit Pavilions at EXPO 2025" Nordic Europe (Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland) "Nordic Circle"

Building a Better Future Together

The Nordic Circle is a collaborative initiative by the five Nordic countries—Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden—aimed at fostering new connections and transforming isolated ideas into groundbreaking innovations.

Designed by Italian architect Michele De Lucchi and AMDL Circle and constructed by RIMOND, this wooden structure spans 1,200 square meters and stands 17 meters tall.

It embodies the timeless principles of sustainability and forward-thinking.

The pavilion features dedicated Nordic exhibition areas, a rooftop restaurant and garden, as well as meeting spaces and a business center. The joint pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai offers the world an opportunity to engage with the Nordic model of trust, sustainability, and innovation.

We believe that collaboration across borders and cultures—sharing knowledge, questioning norms, and exchanging ideas—is the key to building trust and a sustainable future.

The Nordic Pavilion highlights three core themes:

"Green Transition & Circular Economy","Lifestyle & Well-being" and "Mobility & Connectivity"

Through these themes, the Nordic countries will showcase their efforts in addressing critical global challenges, engaging with Japan and the international community.

At Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, the Nordic Circle will demonstrate how five nations can work together towards greater goals, creating a better future for all.

Join us in shaping a brighter tomorrow, together with the Nordics.
